Decorate a gentleman's study or office with this antique figure. Sculpted in France, circa 1880, the spelter statue stands on a variegated beige marble base, and depicts a soldier in Louis XV clothing holding a gun in his left hand while scanning the horizon with his right hand. The statue is similar to the style of Moreau it is not signed. The piece is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich patinated bronze finish. Measures: 7"W x 7"D x 17"H.
