Chinese DeHua porcelain Kuan Yin seated on an elephant throne, Kuan Yin on a blanketed resting elephant, her right and left hand in Karana mudra, her left hand also holding a dual Ru Yi lotus flower sceptre, in the bud and opened. Clothed in a flowing robe with a necklace, arm and wrist bracelets and the crown of Amitabha, her left foot resting on a lotus pod, wearing a coiffure of ornaments and long coiled braids. Exquisite fine realistic detail through out, down to Kuan Yin's fingernails. Impressed He Chaozong and DeHua mark on her back. The traditional Chinese finely carved hongmu stand is included.
