Charming pair of Staffordshire style figurines; fishmonger lass (2.5"W x 2.5"D x 6.75"H) a colonial lad (3"W x 2.75"D x 8.25"H) with a lovely bouquet for his beloved. Beautifully crafted with fine attention to detail. Marks: Made in Occupied Japan (male) indicates 1947 - 1952. "Made in Japan" (female) either pre-1947 or post-1952. Very good vintage condition with minor original fabrication and glaze flaws.
