A mid-century French floor lamp, circa 1950s, in the manner of Jean-Pierre Ryckaert. Forged in darkened metal, the brutalist silhouette stacks oversized chain links on a horseshoe base, rising to an ivory drum shade. The shade tilts up to roughly 45° for directional light, and when lit, casts a warm, diffused glow. Style it beside a lounge chair, set at the edge of a sofa, or let it softly illuminate a corner. Condition: Great vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. The metal frame shows surface patina and minor marks throughout. This lamp has been professionally rewired by our team of restorationists with a new socket, foot switch, and cable. Newly sourced ivory shade included. Accepts one E26 light bulb.
