Offering a really nice little flush-mount fixture from the Roaring Twenties (maybe the 30s). The solid aluminum apparatus has three chains with a ball on the end that holds the glass in place. You can easily adjust the chains to have the glass hang closer or farther away from the aluminum canopy and socket cover. The socket, by the way, is original and in perfect working order, and uses a standard-sized bulb of any wattage. There are some minor compromises to the finish on the glass, some of which you can see in the photos, if you study them carefully. Once the fixture is up on the ceiling only your most obsessive-compulsive guest will notice anything amiss. You can say, "Well, it's almost a hundred years old, for Pete's sake!" The glass is about 10 inches across and hangs down about 8 inches as shown. Once upon a time there was a switch on the side of the canopy. It's been removed and a nickel-plated "half ball" installed to cover the hole.
