One of eight square light fixtures by Kalmar, Austria, manufactured in midcentury, circa 1970 (late 1960s or early 1970s). Each fixture has eight sockets for small screw base bulbs E14 (e.g. LED or filament, max. 40 W per bulb) which are covered with opaline hand blown 'Granada' ice glass lamp shades. Each glass has the dimensions of 4.5 x 4.5 x 9.5 inch (11.5 x 11.5 x 24 cm). The glasses are made of so called foam glass - it consists of many small bubbles within the glass and therefore it gets its white or opal color.The light takes eight small Edison screw base bulbs type E14 (max. 40W per bulb). These bulbs are available in all countries (US, UK, Europe, Asia, Canada,) for the local electricity voltage. It also can be used with an external dimmer.The price is per lamp.
