An incredible one of a kind......vintage, ceramic/earthenware Sculpture/Lamp. The Owner had a very mid century and eclectic style but doesn't remember where she purchased this piece, except that it was in NYC, in the early 60's. It appears to be a somewhat whimsical style but no signature, that I could see. The instrument appears to have been glazed the rest of the body looks like it was painted, but it could be a stain because the color looks like it has a sheen.....The figurine was soddered into the wooden base and the brass pole helps to centerr it, but there is a weird problem with the switch which looks like it was threaded through an area before the man was soldered to the wood. Other than that there is one little chip pictured on the foot. The Owner has no idea what she paid for it, but I think he is priceless!!
