Black bentwood armchair, with white woven original strap seats, designed by Jan Vanek in the 1930s. The armchairs were produced by UP Zavody Brno. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
