Charming low lounge chair by the French designer duo Adrien Audoux and Frida Minet, crafted in France in the 1950s. The patinated solid wood frame supports a hand-braided rope seat and backrest, forming a striking geometric pattern that is emblematic of the duo’s signature style. The minimalist design, low profile, and use of natural materials reflect their artisanal and modernist approach, typical of the post-war reconstruction period. The chair shows minor signs of age, including small surface cracks in parts of the wood (see photos). These have been professionally stabilized and filled, without compromising the structure or functionality of the piece. The discreet restoration preserves the chair’s authenticity and vintage character. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs, designer records, or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
