An early edition "P40" Lounge Chair by Osvaldo Borsani for Tecno, Italy. This iconic model is designed in 1955 and was considered the flagship of the Tecno Company, The use of advanced new technologies such as synthetic rubber and metal casting were pioneering. It offers different positions for maximum comfort. The back can be reclined in different angles, the headrest moves up and down, the flexible rubber arm rests can be folded away, and the chair features a flip-out leg rest with extendable metal footrest. The brass details and handles make the design complete. The chair is completely restored by a Borsani specialist with new high quality wool fabric and new foam. Originally marked, emblem of the Company Tecno on the side.
