A striking pair of early Mademoiselle lounge chairs designed by renowned Finnish modernist Ilmari Tapiovaara for Asko in the mid-1950s. Crafted from black lacquered birch, these original early production chairs exemplify Tapiovaara’s mastery of form — with slender tapering spindles, a softly curved backrest, and a gracefully reclined posture that invites relaxation.
