The Kintsugi Piggy Bank from Seletti takes the familiar pig-shaped form and reworks it through the kintsugi technique, the Japanese tradition of repairing broken ceramics with gold seams. Designed by Marcantonio, the porcelain surface is broken into irregular sections, several of which are decorated with delicate floral and landscape motifs, while others remain plain white, all joined together by gold lines that trace the fractures across the body.
