This swivel desk chair features a brown beech bentwood frame and a rattan seat. The design of the Thonet No. 5501 chair dates from 1866. It was shown at the World Exhibition in Paris in 1889. This chair was produced in 1981. Marked "THONET81". The seat height can be adjusted in height from 44 to appr. 55 cm. (Remainder of) paper Thonet label underneath the seat. This piece has an attribution mark, I am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
