Hettier & Vincent A rare French 1925-1930 art deco pendant light by Hettier et Vincent in nickel plated bronze. The mounting holds a large ball shaped shade in thick clear frosted pressed glass. It represents three tropical birds in their natural habitat. The shade is signed Hettier & Vincent France near the rim. The signature is vague but there alright. This model was produced by the glass factory Verreries des Hanots for the famous Parisian lighting firm of the two businessmen Louis Hettier and Calixte Vincent. The pendant light is shown in the first supplement of the old Hettier et Vincent product catalog. The chandelier has a total height of 28,35 inches (72 cm) and the glass ball has a diameter of 11,8 inches (30 cm). The shade has a weight of 4,1 kilo. The pendant light is in very good condition. I renickeled and patinated the mounting. And it is rewired with an American standard socket.
