Inspired by the form of the human heart, its deep anatomical grooves guide the fingers into a grip that evokes a ritualistic intimacy. In amber, the hand-blown crystal glows with a warm golden quality that makes the object feel lit from within. Made in a Florentine glasshouse active since 1945, in the Empoli crystal tradition. Each piece is individually hand-finished, the small variations in form and surface are the direct result of mouth-blowing. No two are identical in tone or detail.
