More information coming soon… A beautiful and well-detailed table jardiniere from France, dating to circa 1900. The brass planter has been worked in both a hammered and respousse manner, giving the circular jardiniere ample texture. The twisted rope handles emanate from the mouth of a pair of lion mascarons on opposing ends. Other motifs include cabochons, foliate tendrils, hammered roundels, and undulating waves, as well as three monopodial paw feet.
