Very rare Rocking Chair by designers Ray and Charles Eames. - This Rocking Chair was manufactured in the early 1960s and belongs to the second version of the first series, meaning it has small shock mounts and a seat shell without the surrounding rope. - The Rocking Chair is in original condition; nothing has been added or replaced (shock mounts are original and hardened). - All screws are original from the time of production. - The chair frame is original from the time of production, including the original zinc plating. - The beechwood frame legs are original from the time of production. - The fiberglass is undamaged and shows no signs of restoration—everything is original. The shell has a beautifully visible texture. A truly rare design classic, a piece of furniture that is exactly as it left the factory in the 1960s, without any additions, restorations, or alterations.
