A fantastic early 20th century Shkli rug from the Karabagh area in the Caucasus with a bold tribal pattern with a large white diamond medallion with stylized flowers and vines woven in crimson, green, indigo, and white all set against an indigo field of more stylized flowers and large trees-of-life patterns. The border is exceptional with several thin stripes, each with a stylized flowers and scrolling vines.
