A very old carved wood Burmese Buddha which has been decorated with gold and red in a traditional style. A very serene face on this one. This piece was acquired by myself at a very fine estate sale in San Antonio, Texas. The estate sale house was in the esteemed Terrell Hills neighborhood which is full of historical mansions. The previous owner had a fine collection of very old carved deities, and this Buddha was one of them. Measures 10 inches tall x 3.25 x 2 inches.
