We are selling this great Grand Tour bronze of Flying Mercury after Giambologna. This example is quite large and has quality details and casting. The surface is worn and may have had a patina. The base is a dark marble stone with a band featuring children in bronze. The bronze is probably Italian or French and Mid 19th century. Condition: Good condition. Some surface tarnishing and may have originally had an applied patina. Old repair to the standing leg that may have been done at the foundry. Some chips to the marble base.
