Here is a rare example of the largest statuary Parian portrait bust of famed 19th century composer and musician Richard Wagner (1813-1883) measuring nearly 23” tall , with manufacturers cipher “R & L” in cartouche at rear shoulder, from the Stoke-on-Trent potter Robinson & Leadbeater , in very fine condition, with slight dust accretions consistent with age . Measures about 23” tall, 15” wide, raised on large waisted socle with original brass bolt fastener.. A large and extremely fine addition for any collection and rarely found in this large size.
