Six mysteriously downwards shining, reed-like rods convey a morning or evening mood in the forest and set a special accent in the room. Non-illuminated, the object with its raw surface is an impressive sculpture. These works were inspired by the 'early light' - the shadowy rear light shines through the objects in the foreground. In the course of the day, weak, shadowy light slits turn into hard contours - in the case of the objects, through the rotation of the individual rods, thorns, etc. -;The light, backlight, and shadows change form, shape, and mood. Each sculpture is handmade, signed and numbered. The surfaces are also hand-crafted and thus have slightly different structures, characteristics and colour nuances, even in the case of editions. The illuminants - LEDs of different types - can be exchanged for all sculptures. The LEDs last up to 50,000 hours (compared to 1,000 hours for an incandescent lamp). The objects are generally only equipped with dimmers as on/off switches - a standard cord switch can also be fitted on request. It is recommended, however, the use of switchable radio sockets, since one can maintain the favored light tendency unchanged without having to use the unfortunately quite unsightly, standardized cord switches.
