Vintage Jade Chinese Imperial Ruyi With Wooden Stand

Ruyi is a ceremonial curved scepter or talisman that symbolizes prosperity and good fortune in Chinese folklore. A traditional Ruyi has a long S-shape body and a cloud-like medallion head. This vintage Ruyi, however, is comprised of not just one but three magnificently carved medallions on its head, body, and tail. The head ornament features a regal imperial dragon, while an equally ornate tiger carving adorns the tail emblem; the central medallion features two classical Chinese scripts. This is beautiful work of art to be collected and treasured. A matching wooden stand is included.
