There is a lock to the front desk and drawers but there is no key present. The striking interior comprises of eight graduating drawers four pigeon holes with a central lockable hidden door which has two drawers, perfect for storing documents, papers, books or memorabilia. The front of the bureau has a smaller upper drawers, and three wonderful large spacious graduating drawers. All of the drawers are finished with raised boarders and gorgeous antique brass metal drop handles. The desk has a charming mahogany patination to the front that adds a wonderful period charm to the home decor. Leading down this bureau stands proudly on 4 solid figured feet.
