French style folding secretary made of French walnut wood from the early 19th century with removable wooden lid. The secretary has a drawer under the folding door and a low door with an interior shelf on four feet. The lock and key desk folds down to reveal a wood-topped writing surface and a small shelf inside. The handles are original iron. The secretary is in good antique condition, with appropriate wear consistent with age/use.
