An exceptional early 19th century drop leaf sewing work table. Features a crotch mahogany frame with a drop leaf over two hand dovetailed drawers with curved front over a large lower U shaped bin for accessory storage. The frame is exquisitely crafted with robust mirrored 'S' scroll supports mounted to 'C' scroll feet. The American Empire style period flourished from circa 1810 to 1840.
