A minimalist multi-function utility piece of furniture transformed with the use of the most beautiful English fully quartersawn oak and bold hand-cut oversized twin dovetail jointing. Finished in highly durable eco oils.A design drawing influences from early japanese minimal modernism.These are unique multi functioning pieces of furniture and are intended for use as side, end tables, night stands or stools. These are substantial and striking pieces of completely handmade furniture, built to last. Custom dimensions are available on request. Our regular use of English Quartersawn Oak is one case in point. It has been the beloved timber of fine furniture makers across the world for centuries. It is costly to produce but gives huge benefits and rewards such as its striking medullary rays and superb stability qualities. By utilising these wonderful and naturally occurring features with our contemporary designs we aim to continue creating some very distinct, tactile and idiosyncratic pieces.These are all completely handmade, in very small numbers, by our skilled craftspeople in England.
