19th century Biedermeier style sideboard with a passthrough design. The book matched burl veneer and detailed carpentry, blind mortise and tenon joints throughout, are hallmarks of the style. There are two drawers that pull out on the formal side, with three cabinets that open on both the front and back. This piece would have been situated in the middle of a room, likely between a service area and a formal area. There are modern pin tumbler locks on the back doors, with early locks on the front doors and drawers. The keys are missing. This piece does need some restoration; please refer to pictures.
