Genuine Swedish gustavian sideboard made during the first few years of the 19th century, around 1810. The sideboard is made by hand in solid Swedish pine. The double doors are decorated with fluted diamonds and the frame stands on straight tapered legs. The doors open to an interior with shelves and two drawers at the top. The interior has never been painted and has the genuine patina of aged wood. Original lock and key in working condition. The sideboard has unusually constructed hinges that are visible on the inside of the doors. The paint is an untouched faux paint from around 1860 to 1870. Additionally, the original paint from 1810 shines through in places where the current paint has some distress. Healthy and stable frame with some minor dry cracks on the short sides, see pictures. It's nothing that affect the function or stability. The sideboard measures 107 cm to the table top and the back edge is another 5 cm.
