Vittorio Dassi sideboard The elegantly oval base narrows towards the centre. Profiled, it is outlined above by ebonising and below by a brass slat. The base houses 2 vase-shaped columns carved with a thousand lines and ebonized which support the body of the furniture. The sideboard appears sinuous with the curvature on the sides and the rounded bosses. masterfully made of solid wood and rosewood veneer. It has 4 doors in the center with 3 compartments with shelves, 1 with drawers The top is in black glass on the back, an eye-catching art deco backsplash in wrought iron. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
