Teak sideboard with mirror, early 1900s. This two-door, one-drawer piece of Victorian English origin was made between the 19th and 20th centuries. The finely carved top is decorated with small columns, a central mirror flanked by small side mirrors surmounted by small shelves supported by twisted columns resting on the sideboard top. The rectangular top features a single drawer and two doors, with turned pilasters attached to a plinth base. In good condition with signs of wear consistent with its age; from a private collection, the sideboard has a beautiful patina that enhances the warm hue of the wood. The minimal depth of this antique English sideboard with mirror makes it ideal as an entryway piece.
