Early 19th century mahogany sofa table circa 1820. Good quality Regency period mahogany sofa table. Flame mahogany top and leaves with cross-banded edge and stringing. D-shaped drop-down flaps that open. Fitted with a drawer on each side, with a dummy drawer alongside each. Supported by four scrolls sitting on a splayed leg, raised on brass castors. Length extended: 65 1/2" Natural warp to each leaf, which is visible in the photographs. Minor surface marks to woodwork. Recently hand re-polished in our workshop and ready for everyday use.
