19th century oak joint stool from England with a beveled edge around the top, which is also chamfered and of pegged construction. The apron is wonderfully hand carved on all four sides for easy placement in any room. The stool is supported on hand turned and splayed legs, joined by simple stretchers. This is a lovely piece and would act nicely as a stool or as a small side table beside a lower chair.
