19th century oak joint stool from England. The top has a beveled edge, following down to scalloped aprons with routed decoration. The stool is supported on the most gorgeous hand turned and carved decorated legs we have seen! The legs have capped and reeded graduated turnings on top and bottom with round turned and carved joints in the center. The legs are joined by simple stretchers with routed decoration as well. The stool is supported on small bun feet.
