19th century walnut stool from France. The top has been newly upholstered in linen and finished with a single welt. The top is shaped and has a lovely silhouette. The top is supported on hand carved mouton style legs. The legs are cabriole shape and are joined by a complimentary shaped stretcher. This piece is supported on hand turned feet. We photographed this stool before upholstering, in order to show the quality and age of the materials used.
