Tembo is a stool made of stacked pieces of wood, metal, and cork. This ‘modern TOTEM’ has a playful and bulky aspect recalling children’s toys and African tam-tam (Tembo means elephant foot in Swahili). This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
