Stool/side Table Carbon Dyed Cedar With Carrara Marble Top By Hinterland Design

Cast-off cedar logs are given second life as a crystalline form. The natural beauty of reclaimed wood is harnessed in this side table and sculpture piece where nature informs design. Each little gem is hand-shaped and faceted based on the different characteristics of the log used, and variations in wood grain. Top surface and finish further ensure that no two are alike. Left to weather outdoors, this piece will acquire a natural silver finish.There are many options for customization with the little gems. Shown in main image is natural oiled western red cedar with a white Carrara marble insert. Other wood finishes available are carbon dyed red cedar , white-washed and salmon dyed yellow cedar . All pieces are hand oiled and finished with a natural beeswax polish.Top can be a flat surface or include an insert like this one, which is a 1/2" deep recess allowing various materials to sit flush to the edges ). Inserts available are: - Stone - Marble - Glass - Mirror - Plated metals - Powder-coated metals (price available upon request) - Other customizations (available on request) All little gems are approximately 18-24” W at base, 12-16” W at top x 24” H.
