Oh the stories this could tell. This is an original and beautiful Mahogany Circa 1850 Seaman’s Chest. The top opens and there are two drawers with lion heads pulls on them . The finish is beautiful and the hardware details is in a beautiful brass with a rich patina. The trunk was purchased from J. Tribble in Atlanta, Georgia. This piece is a fabulous piece behind a sofa in a large room or against a wall with art or a mirror hung above.
