A rare and one of a kind swivel top stacking trunk, circa mid 20th Century. Features a rectangular frame made from American pine with metal banding and three compartments. The top section opens via lid and swivels away from the body of the chest to reveal a second compartment which swivels open to allow access to a larger third compartment. Beautifully designed with incredible action! The trunk is cedar lined and rest upon ogee style feet with 's' scrolled accent. Dimensions: 45" x 21" x 26"h
