Antique 18th C. Gothic Renaissance Chestnut Large Coffer Blanket Chest Trunk. Item features hand carved detailing on the front panel, hand wrought iron hardware, a very thick and solid carved wood lid with beveled edges, attractive and desirable patina/weathering and wormholes to the wood from age, as well a hand forged keyhole cover adoring a cross and heart motif. This chest also comes with a custom made, removable, interior cedar chest which was added at a later date. Circa Mid 18th Century. Measurements: 26" H x 59" W x 24" D.
