At corners cast mermaid supports in form of maiden in chaste Classical dress with scaly hindquarters terminating in scroll. On sides and cover top, in relief, scenes of rustic idyll with country folk dancing and feasting. Gilt interior. Hanau marks. Weight: 31.5 troy ounces.
