An early 20th century French boite à sel, or salt box, made of solid walnut with hinged lid and small drawer. A rustic hand-crafted box with dark waxed finish. This box was used to store salt and pepper and would have been hung on the kitchen wall. Circa 1900-1910. Dimensions: 15.25"H x 8.25"W x 5"D
