Beautiful traditional tansu with drawers from the Meiji period. This cabinet features five drawers, each adorned with authentic metal fittings, including handles and lockplates (without keys). Metal carrying handles are attached to the sides, once used for easy transport. This Japanese tansu is an original interior piece in its untouched state, exuding a sense of history. The original locking bar for the second and third drawers is included.
