Antique Storage Chest for Copperware from the Early Meiji Period. Dimensions: height 54 cm, width 30 cm, depth 30 cm. The storage/transport chest opens with a removable panel. Inside, there are five shelves provided. The chest is easy to transport with the metal handle on top. The panel is painted on both sides with Japanese calligraphy. The date is also mentioned here: March 10, Meiji 2 (1869). This storage chest was originally used for storing copper or bronze items. The wood is beautifully aged, giving it a unique patina that makes the piece even more special.
