A 1950's small Finnish table lamp with a small bubble glass shade, walnut base, and brass stem. The lamp was designed by Helena Tynell for Temde. Tynell was a notable Finnish glass designer who has been described as a pioneer of Finnish glass art. She is becoming recognized for her independent contribution to the genre, stepping out of the shadow of her husband Paavo Tynell. The lamp has the Temde maker's mark on the underside. The lamp is in excellent condition for its age and use. The wiring was professionally checked and a US plug was added. Dimensions: 9.25" H X 3.5" W X 7" D.
