A magnificent antique french bronze lamp figure ‘la paix’ by jean-jules cambos (1828-1917). This dates from around the 1880-1890 period. it is very large and impressive, it is of outstanding quality and it is a functional sculpture, with a fully wired lamp and glass flame shade. The details are incredibly beautiful, this stands on a gorgeous rouge marble plinth base. The bronze is signed j. Cambos and there is a brass placque on the base with the artists name and title of the piece. the condition is superb, this has a stunning patina and there is no damage to be seen. We have had this re-wired, the lamp is in good working order. width – 20 inches , 51 cm depth – 18 inches , 46 cm height – 49 inches , 124 cm this piece has an attribution mark, i am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution, uk plug (up to 250v).the wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
