Decorative Art Nouveau table lamp, dated around 1900, made of brass with visible patina on the surface. The lamp stem in the form of a metal rod ends with a curved arm to which the lamp holder and shade are attached. A characteristic element is the white lace lampshade finished with tassels. The lamp has a height adjustment system – the arm with the lampshade can be moved up and down. In addition, there is an adjustment screw next to the lamp holder, which allows for precise adjustment of the direction of the light. The ceramic holder, mounted at the end of the arm, is designed for a classic light bulb. The lampshade is made of finely woven textile lace, finished with tassels – a typical solution for the turn of the century and the Art Nouveau style.
