An elegant adjustable French table lamp in patinated bronze or bronzed brass, circa 1930s. The lamp features a slender fluted stem, a decorative sliding mechanism and a beautifully curved gooseneck arm holding a white milk-glass shade with a scalloped rim. The shade is fitted with a pull-chain switch, giving the piece a charming early electrical character. The lamp can be adjusted in height and direction, making it suitable as a desk lamp, bedside lamp, reading lamp or decorative library lamp. Its dark patinated metal finish and soft white glass shade create a refined contrast, typical of French lighting from the Art Deco and early 20th-century period. European Plug (up to 250V).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
