Crowfoot Table Lamp By Karl-Heinz Kinsky For Gebrüder Cosack, 1950s

Chairish

$896

This table lamp is easily identified by its tripod base, which resembles a crow's foot. Moreover, the base has a beautiful, wrinkled texture, which was typical of Cosack's products. The lampshade has an organic shape and is painted black. The curved arm and built-in ball joint are brass and the base is metal with white crimp lacquer. The hinge makes it easy to adjust the lampshade to the user's preference. The lamp is in good condition and has acquired a nice patina over the years. The shade has been repainted in the past. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution, European Plug (up to 250V).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
