Here is a fantastic, one-of-a-kind lamp made from a piece of architectural salvage featuring carved wood details. The base looks like a cornice or support piece. It has a great antiqued, worn feel with wear, patina and some paint remnants. It has been sealed to prevent further aging. The lamp hardware matches wonderfully as it is an antiqued black metal. I really love the thicker rod detail. To me, this feels very English library, or a piece you would see in an explorer's or architect's office. The right shade would make this piece sing!
